Mary : Our trip was really a disaster.
Richard : You're right. One of the main problems was accommodation. Ali advised us to stay at a hotel, but we reserved a hostel. It was nothing like the pictures. It was so small, and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty, with broken tiles and no hot water.
Mary : Exactly, and also, John told us to take some food with us, but we didn’t. The traditional dishes were so spicy that we couldn't even taste them, and the food and drinks were expensive.
Richard : And the transportation! We didn’t use the metro because it was so complicated to figure out the routes, and we preferred buses.
However, the buses were always late, and when we finally got on, they were so crowded that we couldn't even find a seat. It would have been better to use the metro.
Mary : I think one of our main problems was that we didn't read the map properly. Sally told us the roads were simple, but she must have been mistaken and forgotten the city.
Richard : What an awful experience it was! Next time, we’ll make sure we do things differently.
